the grey is (of course) knit picks andean treasure in fog heather (100% alpaca) and the variegated is some mystery yarn a friend gifted me a few years ago. i think she got it at broadripple knits. i knitted up a cowl as soon as she gave it to me, but i didn't wear it very often so i tore it out and re-wound it - i was just waiting for the right project!
